This book was a greatly enjoyable and emotional read that I would recommend to fans of stories that balance family relationships, coming of age and young love. I found myself rooting for Mehar while also hoping that her family all got the happy endings that they deserved. I was surprised in the end that Naz genuinely loved Mehar’s father, as Mehar’s judgement had clouded the narrative.
